about

With the understanding that movement is universal, boundless, and constantly flowing, Elenora operates on the conviction that dance is a living art, belonging to every body.

Her work
celebrates dance
as a source of connection, empowerment, discovery, healing, and joy, both individually and collectively.

An accomplished artist who spent two decades of her life devoted to the craft of ballet, Ellie channels her passion for movement into every aspect of her life, from hosting playful dance spaces, to teaching beginning ballet classes, to writing visually dynamic essays and poetry, to choreographing performance works that explore what it means to live inside the human body.

Ellie has performed on some of the world’s biggest stages with the Royal Danish Ballet, Boston Ballet and the National Ballet of Canada. She serves as the Director of Dance for Equinox Festival in Denmark, where she has the privilege to choreograph and perform in annual collaborations with some of Europe’s most accomplished chamber musicians.

She currently lives in Brooklyn, New York, where she teaches ballet, writes on Substack, dances down the sidewalks, and hosts Flow Space, a monthly movement jam in DUMBO,
